I chose to write about the marketing and social media account of Tesla because I thought it would be interesting to look at the comments due to the brands being controversial in political settings. Tesla Motors sells electric cars, and was one of the first to go large scale on the market of “self driving” features which have been consistently improving since the company gained popularity almost a decade ago. Tesla motors is trying to sell cars and trucks. Occasionally they will advertise and showcase something from a company also owned by Elon Musk because other companies are also tech based and always moving forward in their respective fields. Marketing in the News: Never Just a Hike - North Face

     The Never Just a Hike campaign started rolling out last month for the spring and summer months coming up. North Face is the brand running the campaign. I chose this event as my focus because I am more interested in the apparel world than I am food, sports, etc. I really enjoyed the commercials that came out and think they are enjoyable to watch, and if I was in the market for some heavy duty gear and supplies I would look into shopping at North Face. North Face is one of the biggest sports and outdoors brands in the United States, and they have been steadily growing within the last 2025/2026 quarters. With it being one of the higher earning companies under VF, the parent company, North Face has to continue growing so it can hold up some of the weaker companies, like Vans.  Hi!       My name is Hailey Zinsli, I am a third year college student and transferred from Montana State University and now attend Linn Benton and Oregon State University.       I am a Design and Business Innovation Management major, and in the process of choosing a related minor. I enrolled in this course because my advisor recommended it, it is required for my major, and I am trying to play the field before I settle on a minor.      Outside of school I love to travel with my friends, and would love to have more opportunities to do so. I also have two rescue pitbulls, Tank and Honey, that I love exploring trails and parks with.
